Chatbots are bad at drawing birth charts, so some apps now do only two jobs: calculate the chart, then write a prompt for the AI you already use. Korea's Waitcle lets a 3,000-year-old moon rabbit do the reading; FateKit builds five chart systems offline.

In early October, several AI astrology apps in the US and India made the first question free. What happens next varies: some price each answer up front, while AstroSage bills its named AI astrologers by the minute, and that is where the complaints pile up.

AOL runs a daily horoscope credited to Google Gemini, and Argentine and Mexican outlets publish monthly AI luck rankings. Checked against an ephemeris, the AI gets the sky right. Who gets lucky depends on which outlet asked which bot, and one paper now credits Gemini to OpenAI.

DreamApp's July 21 privacy update lets it train its own models on dream content and, with opt-in consent, license or sell dream datasets to AI developers; withdrawing can't recall copies already delivered. A few small apps are moving readings onto the phone instead, with trade-offs.
