Welcome to AstroDir (astrodir.com, "AstroDir", "we", or "us"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
1. The service
AstroDir is a directory of astrology, tarot, Bazi, I Ching, and other metaphysics apps and tools. It offers app listings, rankings, articles, app submission and claiming, and paid services for app developers. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure, and you are responsible for all activity under it. We may limit, suspend, or close your account if you breach these Terms or the law, or harm others or AstroDir.
3. Information only
Listings, ratings, rankings, editor notes, and articles reflect public information and our own judgment. They are for reference only, and we do not guarantee they are accurate, complete, or current. Metaphysics content is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. AstroDir does not provide fortune-telling or divination services. Listed apps are built and run by third parties; your use of them, payments to them, and any disputes with them are between you and those third parties.
4. Submissions, claims, and editorial control
When you submit, claim, or edit app information, you confirm that it is true and lawful and that you have the right to provide its text, images, and trademarks. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use, edit, translate, display, and promote that content.
We decide independently whether to list an app and how to describe, rank, and rate it. We may edit, hide, or remove any content at any time, and may revoke a claim or Verified status.
5. Paid services
The scope, price, and term of paid services (such as Verified and promotion or sponsorship services) are as described on the page at the time of purchase. Unless that page says otherwise, payments are one-time and do not renew automatically. Paid services do not affect rankings or editorial reviews. As the site evolves, we may change how and where paid services are displayed, while aiming to keep a comparable result.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details.
6. Refunds
Paid services are generally non-refundable once delivered, except:
- where the purchase page expressly promises a refund, for example when a submitted app does not meet our listing standards and is removed;
- where we are unable to provide the service for reasons on our side;
- where a refund is required by law.
No refund is given when a service is suspended or removed because you breached these Terms. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not post unlawful, false, infringing, or misleading content; impersonate any person or product; use bots or other means to manipulate clicks, ratings, or rankings; scrape the site at scale without permission; or interfere with the normal operation of the site.
8. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, rankings, and editorial content belong to us and may not be copied or used commercially without permission. Third-party app names, trademarks, and screenshots belong to their respective owners. The AstroDir badge may only be used in the way we provide.
9. Third-party links
The site links to third-party websites and apps. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or services, and you visit them at your own risk.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a listing or paid service will bring any particular traffic, users, or revenue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnity
You will compensate us for losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from third-party claims related to your content, your use of the site, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the new version on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith; if that fails, the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have jurisdiction.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
