A Bazi-first AI fortune-telling app
Cantian AI (参天 AI) is an AI astrology app that starts from Bazi, the Chinese Four Pillars system, and extends to divination, feng shui, and naming. It works as an AI agent built on specialized skills, aimed at questions about career, money, love, and everyday decisions. It runs in the browser at cantian.ai, with apps for iPhone and Android and a version in ChatGPT's GPT Store. Both the website and the App Store listing cite more than 1,000,000 users.
Luck Scan, Hexa Cast, Home Setup, Trend Read, and Soulmate
The homepage lists five features, grouped by tradition:
- Bazi: Luck Scan
- Liuyao: Hexa Cast
- Feng shui: Home Setup
- I Ching: Trend Read
- Skill: Soulmate
Naming and compatibility readings are covered too, and the skill pool diagram on the site also names Zi Wei Dou Shu, Qi Men Dun Jia, and Mei Hua Yi Shu.
Several skills on one question
Love, divination, naming, and other question types each get their own skill, and one question can draw on several skills at once. According to the site, the AI first works out what the person is really worried about, then chooses how to respond: a written interpretation, images or video, a professional report, or concrete actions such as a ritual.
The I Ching and San Ming Tong Hui as rules
Cantian turns texts such as the I Ching and the Bazi classic San Ming Tong Hui into knowledge graphs and reasoning rules that the AI can read and apply. The site also keeps reference pages, including BaZi Cases, Oracle Poems, and the Cantian Wiki.
On iPhone: pick an agent's temperament
The App Store app, Cantian AI - Bazi & I Ching AI, centers on conversation. It builds an Eastern-inspired personality model from the user's Bazi chart and profile, and offers AI agents in gentle, direct, scholarly, and energetic styles, each with its own knowledge and skills for reflection, decisions, and daily chat. It keeps a memory of key moments and emotional cues across conversations. The listing states that personal data, Bazi details, and conversations are encrypted and not shared with third parties.
Free basics, unlockable reports
The site's FAQ says some content and a basic experience are free. Deeper Bazi analysis, fuller chart reports, and access to more AI skills are unlocked as needed. The iPhone app is a free download.
Interface languages and Android downloads
The web version is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Android users can install from Google Play or download the APK directly. The App Store listing shows English only.
Third place and an open-source Bazi MCP
Cantian's news section reports a third-place finish in the 17th Global Fortune Telling Competition, and its Bazi MCP is now open source.
