  • Its timing view follows Mahadasha, Antardasha, and Pratyantara periods instead of stopping at one broad cycle.
  • The product documents a clean handoff from server-calculated chart facts to Claude-written explanations.
  • Kundli matching, Panchang, Manglik, and Sade Sati each have their own public calculator, while deeper chart tools stay visible in the app workspace.

Best for

Best for India-market users who want a free Vedic chart and dasha dates first, then optional chart-aware AI explanations and deeper Jyotish tools.

Overview

About Nyovah

A free Kundli with the timing visible

Nyovah is an India-focused Vedic astrology web app built around a person's current planetary period and its change dates. Its public Kundli generator accepts a name, birth date, birth time, and birth city without requiring an account. The result is described as including the ascendant, all nine planets, Moon nakshatra, and the current dasha.

The separate Vimshottari dasha calculator follows Mahadasha, Antardasha, and Pratyantara periods with start and end dates. Public tools also cover 36-point Kundli matching, today's Panchang, Manglik Dosha, and Sade Sati. The signed-in workspace lists divisional charts, yogas, Ashtakavarga, KP timing, Chalit, transits, gemstones, numerology, muhurta, and relationship comparison; availability varies between the free tier, account access, and paid features.

The engine calculates before the AI writes

Nyovah documents a deliberate split between calculation and explanation. Its FAQ says planetary positions, dasha dates, yogas, and chart analysis are calculated by a server-side Jyotish engine. Anthropic's Claude receives the precomputed chart facts and turns them into plain-language commentary and follow-up answers rather than calculating the chart itself.

The same FAQ says the planetary positions use published astronomical formulas and the dasha timeline starts from the Moon's birth position. These are the operator's methodology and accuracy claims. AstroDir reviewed the live pages and tool forms but did not enter birth details or independently test a chart, its dates, or the AI interpretation.

Free charting, optional paid access, and four listed languages

The full Kundli and dasha timeline are presented as free, with no account needed to begin. Signing in saves charts and opens a limited conversation allowance. More conversations and premium features use one-time credits or paid plans; the current FAQ and terms differ on renewal details, so visitors should read the live checkout terms before paying.

English and Hindi versions of the public calculators are live. The FAQ also lists Assamese and Bengali inside the app. Nyovah supports Google, email, and Indian phone-number sign-in, and Razorpay handles payments.

The privacy policy identifies the operator as the Nyovah team in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. It says account data and birth details are stored with Firebase, while computed chart facts may be sent to Anthropic without the user's name or email. Account deletion is available in settings, with stored data scheduled for removal within 30 days. Readings are presented for information and reflection, not as medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

FAQ

What can I use without an account?

The public Kundli and dasha tools can be started without an account. Nyovah says the full chart and dasha timeline remain free; signing in is used to save charts and continue with AI conversations.

Does AI calculate the birth chart?

Nyovah says no. Its server-side Jyotish engine calculates planetary positions, dasha dates, yogas, and chart facts, then Claude explains those precomputed facts. AstroDir did not independently audit the calculation engine.
