Your Tarot Deck Can Come Along, Guidebook Included
Scan the cards you own, keep their guidebook alongside them, then use them in readings. Tarot Decks now accommodates Lenormand, oracle and angel decks with custom card counts.
Hojate has given Tarot Decks a place for the book that came with your cards. Its October updates added searchable guidebooks linked to individual cards and, on October 20, support for Lenormand, oracle and angel decks with their own card counts and names.
After drawing a card, readers can consult that deck's explanation and add their own annotations. In the official Rider-Waite example, the Guidebook entry sits between a completed 78-card progress bar and the grid of card images.

Getting that collection onto the phone still takes some work. The scanning screen says to keep going after the first card: each subsequent scan fills the next empty slot, while the chosen filter lasts for the batch. For shiny or dark cards, the screen suggests a change of lighting before another attempt. Use soft, indirect light and tilt the card to reduce glare; if edge detection fails, switch to Photo and crop it yourself.
Once captured, the cards can be used in readings. One official screen shows a three-card spread with past, present and future positions, followed by a journal field. The latest update lets users reveal their reading one card at a time; the earlier October update added reversed and bonus cards.

Hojate says the scanned images and deck information are stored on the device, with optional syncing to the owner's iCloud account.
The physical deck can stay in its box. Its portable copy has both the book and space for the reader's next note.
