A modern BaZi flow built around place as well as time
Mingora creates a BaZi chart from birth date, birth time when known, and birth city. Its city picker resolves a location to timezone and coordinates; a Beijing test selected Asia/Shanghai with latitude and longitude rather than treating the city as a plain text label. Birth time is optional, and the product says it falls back to three pillars with more cautious timing language when the hour is missing.
The free path does not require an account. It introduces the Four Pillars, Day Master, Five Elements balance, and an initial personality pattern in plain language. Separate learning pages explain BaZi, the pillars, Day Master, Five Elements, true solar time, and how the Da Yun starting age is calculated.
Free preview first, then clearly priced deeper readings
The free preview is $0. A complete personal reading and a complete two-chart relationship reading are each listed at $9.90 as one-time purchases rather than subscriptions. The deeper personal report adds career and money patterns, relationship themes, twelve-month timing, ninety-day guidance, Five Elements actions, and one follow-up question. Extra question packs cost $2.99 for one, $6.99 for three, or $19.99 for ten.
The relationship tool deliberately avoids a single compatibility score. It frames two charts through emotional rhythm, communication, friction, boundaries, repair, and shared growth. Its free snapshot is available before the paid full relationship reading.
English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese
The core forms, explanations, learning pages, pricing language, and report interface are available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The Chinese pages use familiar terms such as 四柱、日主、五行、大运 and 真太阳时 instead of leaving the central chart vocabulary untranslated.
Mingora describes its readings as AI-generated and interpretive, not deterministic. It blocks medical, legal, investment, death, disaster, pregnancy, privacy-invasive, and guaranteed-outcome questions. The privacy policy says Google Analytics does not receive birth details, email, questions, or generated readings, although Mingora retains account, reading, order, and question records as needed to operate the service and handle payments or support.
