  • Every one of the six tosses is a separate tap, and the page shows each coin's face and the resulting line value before the next throw.
  • The result screen names both the primary and the relating hexagram and lists exactly which lines are changing.
  • The free Quick Reading is organised into situation, change, next steps, cautions and a bottom line rather than a single block of text.
  • The $1.99 Deep Reading is a one-time unlock for the current cast, with no account and no subscription.
  • Each of the 64 hexagram guides walks through all six lines and four life contexts.

Best for

English readers who want a coin-cast I Ching reading online without an account, plus a full 64-hexagram reference.

Overview

About I Ching Advisor

I Ching Advisor runs one question through the traditional three-coin method in your browser. You type a situation of up to 500 characters, optionally tag it Love, Career, Money or Life, and then tap Toss the Coins six times. Each toss shows the three Qianlong coins landing as yin or yang, names the line value (Old Yin, Young Yang and so on), and adds the line to the hexagram from the bottom upward. The site states that each virtual coin has an independent, equal chance of either side, so line values follow the traditional 1:3:3:1 proportions.

Once the sixth line lands, the reading screen shows the primary hexagram with its number, Chinese name and English title, marks every changing line, and displays the relating hexagram next to it. AI enters only at this point. Tapping Reveal my reading sends the question and the fixed cast to the interpreter, which returns a Quick Reading in plain English: what the hexagram says about your situation, what is changing, what to do next, what to watch out for, and a bottom line. The site is explicit that AI never chooses, rerolls or alters the hexagram; the server reconstructs the cast from the six line values before requesting the interpretation.

The Quick Reading is free and needs no account. Below it, a one-time Deep Reading costs $1.99 through Paddle and expands the same cast into the real tension behind the decision, what supports a yes, what supports caution, underestimated risks, conditions that would change the answer, a four-step action plan, questions to resolve before deciding, and a final directional lean. It is not a subscription and unlocks only the reading identified at checkout.

The 64 hexagrams section is a full reference library in the King Wen sequence. Each guide covers the hexagram's meaning and image, its upper and lower trigrams, key themes, all six lines, and how it reads in relationships, work, decisions and personal direction. Every guide links back to casting so you can consult the text with a live question.

There are no accounts and no reading history. A reading and its payment entitlement are kept for about 30 days behind an anonymous device identifier, then expire. Questions and cast data are sent to DeepSeek for interpretation. The interface is English only, and the site is published by EIEI.

FAQ

Does the AI pick my hexagram?

No. Six three-coin tosses fix the primary hexagram and any changing lines before interpretation starts. AI receives the finished cast and explains it; it cannot choose, reroll or alter a line.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts or saved history. You can cast and read the free Quick Reading anonymously. A reading and any Deep Reading purchase are tied to an anonymous device identifier for about 30 days.

What does the $1.99 Deep Reading include?

A one-time expansion of the same cast covering the core tension, arguments for and against, underestimated risks, conditions that change the answer, a four-step plan, open questions and a final lean. It is not a subscription and unlocks only the reading chosen at checkout.

Can I read about a hexagram without casting?

Yes. The 64 hexagrams section has a guide for each figure with its meaning, trigrams, six lines and readings for relationships, work, decisions and personal direction.
