  • A single front-facing photo produces one of 13 animal archetypes and six first-impression bars before the longer reading.
  • Character, dating, and friendship are separate views, and the match tool can compare a couple or two friends.
  • Sections are omitted when the face does not provide a clear signal, while included claims end with a real behavior to watch.
  • Most proportions stay on-device, but the privacy policy clearly discloses the few downscaled crops that are briefly processed by the server.

Best for

Useful for people curious about AI-assisted face reading, first-impression prompts, and relationship comparison who will treat the result as entertainment and only scan photos they have permission to use.

Overview

About FaceSage

Read one face from one photo

FaceSage starts with a clear, front-facing photo. It maps the face into hundreds of measurement points, compares what stands out against calibrated faces, and gives the person one of 13 animal archetypes plus six first-impression signals. Confirming an email unlocks the first full character reading for free; no card or password is required.

The service frames its output as how a person may come across, not a factual verdict about character. If a photo is too small, angled, or expressive to measure reliably, the app says so instead of filling the gaps.

Character, dating, friendship, and matching

The written reading cross-checks six face-reading traditions and only includes a section when the measured signals support it. Each claim comes with a concrete behavior to watch, so the result works as a prompt for observation rather than a horoscope-style certainty. Separate views cover character, dating, and friendship, while the matching tool compares two people for a romantic or friendship read.

The first complete character read is free after email verification. Dating and friendship reads currently start at $2.99, with additional reads and FaceSage Plus sold separately. Most facial proportions are measured on the device. For eyebrow thickness, earlobes, and the apparent-sex comparison group, downscaled crops are briefly processed on the server and discarded; full-resolution photos are not stored.

FAQ

What is free in FaceSage?

The archetype and first-impression signals appear first. Confirming an email unlocks the first complete character reading for free without a card or password.

Does FaceSage store uploaded photos?

The privacy policy says full-resolution photos are not stored. Most proportions are measured on-device; a few downscaled crops are briefly processed for eyebrow, earlobe, and apparent-sex labels, then discarded.

Can FaceSage compare two people?

Yes. The match area can compare a romantic pair or two friends. A two-person match uses two reads.

Is face reading a scientific personality test?

No. FaceSage describes readings as entertainment and as impressions, not facts, science, advice, or a verdict on someone's character.
